FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: deforming tool is imparted with rotation motion and motion of feed relative to its lengthwise axis. A blank is imparted with motion of lengthwise and crosswise feed. There is used the deforming tool consisting of a case, of deforming rings of ellipse shape, of a disk with radial slots and of a support cartridge, whereon there is secured a profile cam. The deforming rings are secured in radial slots of the disk with clamping straps by means of screws. The case is made in form of an end asynchronous engine and consists of a movable rotating part - a rotor and of a stationary part - a stator. The disk is attached to the rotor. The support cartridge is pressed into the central part of the stator. The profile cam actuates the deforming rings for generation of their vibration in a radial direction at rotor rotation.
EFFECT: expanded process functionality, upgraded quality of processed surface and increased efficiency.
