SUBSTANCE: invention relates to battery chargers. A battery charger on which power converting elements are installed to convert the electrical network power to DC power, in which components of power conversion include a power breaker to switch on/off input AC power, a power conversion circuit to convert the input AC power to pre-determined AC power, a voltage conversion circuit to convert the pre-determined AC power to pre-determined voltage, and a rectifier circuit to convert the AC power converted to the pre-determined voltage, contains a central frame, on it power converting elements are installed, and external enclosures connected to the central frame such that to cover the central frame, at that the power breaker, power conversion circuit, rectifier circuit, and voltage conversion circuit are installed in such order on the central frame.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of power conversion.
