FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar and can be used to determine the range to the frequency targeted jammer of noise interference (NI) of radar station (RS) in the control means of the anti-aircraft missile system (CM AMS). Method of determining the range to the main frequency targeted jammer of noise interference (NI) of radar station – RSo, included in the CM AMS, based on a change in the carrier frequency of the probing signal (PS) of the main RSo at time ti, forcing a change in the frequency of interference, on measuring time interval Ti between the moment of radiation of the PS and the moment of detecting the reaction of the NI thereto, on determining the distance thereto from the expression Doi=C(Ti/2-Δt), where Doi – range to NI, measured by the main RSo at time ti, C – the speed of light, Δt – the delay time of the reaction of NI, determined by the parameters of the equipment NI, while simultaneously measuring the distance D∂i to NI1 with additional RS∂, also included in the CM AMS and unaffected interference, from condition Doi=D∂i the value of the hardware delay Δt=Ti/2-D∂i/C is found, then at any time tj>ti the distance to the NI is determined with RSo from expression Doj=D∂i+C(Tj-Ti)/2, where Doj – range to NI, measured by the main RSo at time tj>ti, Tj – time interval between tj – the moment of the radiation of the PS at the changed frequency and the moment of detection of the reaction of NI to this change.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of determining the range to the NI using RS, which is part of the control of the ground-to-ground missile system, and for suppressing thereof interference is placed.
