SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used for determining range to pulse jammer (PJ). Said result is achieved by fact that in method of determining range to pulse jammer (PJ) in first version, based on variation of parameters of probing signal (PS) of radar station in neighbouring periods of probing, forcing to change in parameters of pulses in sequence of interference, sequence of pulses to previous and changed parameters are measured time intervals T₁ = t₁-(t₀+Τ_repeat) and T₂ = t₂-(t₀+Τ_repeat) and approximate range D to PJ is calculated from expression CT₁/2≤D≤CT₂/2, where t₀ is moment of PS radiation; Τ_repeat is period of repetition of PS; C is speed of light; t₁, t₂ is moment of detecting respectively in sequence of pulses of last to previous pulse parameters and first with changes. Said technical result under second option is achieved by that in method of determining range to pulse jammer (PJ) based on variation of parameters of probing signal (PS) of radar station in neighbouring periods of probing forcing to change in parameters of pulses in sequence of noise, is taken with direction of pulse jamming sequence to PJ to previous and changed parameters, first detected pulse sequence with changed parameters is considered to be reflected from PJ and if it is not correlated with noise sequence pulses, value D is determined by it.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling measurement of distance to PJ using single-position radar station.
