FIELD: safety devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective devices used in explosive and radioactive facilities. Method for protection of explosive facilities consists in that, above open opening of protected facility, a protective device is installed in form of explosion proof panel, designed to release excess pressure. Explosion proof panel is made in form of a metal armored frame with armored metal plating and filler in form of air-lead disperse system. Frame is fixed in at least three support rods with plates-stops in upper part, which is fixed in protected facility and is telescopically inserted into fixed branch pipes-supports arranged in explosion proof panel of protective device. Support rods, telescopically fitted in fixed branch pipes of protective device, are connected to each other through sheets of elastic damping elements.
EFFECT: invention increases reliability of operation of explosion-proof devices during emergency explosion at site and provides return of said structures into initial position after explosion.
