FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: claimed plant the high-pressure steam turbine module (1), medium-pressure stem turbine module (2) and at least one low-pressure steam turbine module (3), seals (100, 101, 200, 300) fitted between the turbine shaft (5 and appropriate housings (10, 20, 30) of said turbine modules. Every said module comprises the main chamber (1', 2', 3') to house the turbine. This plant comprises the first connection chamber (C1) arranged in the high-pressure module housing (10) to collect the steam leaks (F11) from said module (1) via its seal (100, 101) at pressures above the barometric pressure. Injection chamber (Ca, Cb) is arranged in the low-pressure module (3) housing (30). Said chamber is communicated via the first loop (61) with the first collection chamber (C1) to transfer the steam therefrom to the injection chamber (Ca, Cb). Then, it is transferred into the low-pressure module (3) main chamber (3') by leaks (F31a, F31b) via the seal (300a, 300b).

EFFECT: higher efficiency brought about by optimised steam cycle.
