FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for performance of adsorption process in gas/steam-adsorbent system. Gas flow is fed into lower part of unit through distributing grid. Then it passed through external and internal perforated cylinders with adsorbent between them. Purified gas flow is discharged from adsorber via union. Adsorbent is fed via loading hatch. Spent adsorbent is removed via discharge port. Steam is fed via union to bubbler having perforated toroidal surface. Process is carried out at following optimum ratios: bubbler toroidal surface perforation factor K=0.5÷0.9; ratio of housing cylindrical part height H to its diameter D: H/D=2.0÷2.5; ratio of housing cylindrical part height H to its wall thickness S: H/S=580÷875. Adsorbent is made as hollow balls on outer surface of which there are additional elements in form of spherical, conical surfaces, or any surface of bodies of revolution, e.g. paraboloid, ellipsoid. Inner spherical surface of nozzle is connected to external one by means of at least three channels.
EFFECT: high degree of gas flow cleaning of target component due to increased area of adsorbent contact with target component.
