FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vertical adsorber containing the cylindrical housing with conic cover and the bottom; the cover has the loading hatch, the union for initial mix supply with the distributive grid, the union for discharge of desorption vapors and the union for the safety valve. The stiffening ring is provided in the place of joint of the cover and the housing, and in the middle part of the housing on the bearing ring the beams with supports are installed which support the grid-iron on which the gravel layer is laid. The layer of the adsorbent located between a layer of gravel and mesh, on which the loads to prevent entrainment of the adsorbent at desorption, and discharge of the spent adsorbent is carried out through the discharge hatch mounted in the housing, and a bottom mounted bubbler and manhole with a nozzle for discharging condensate and water supply, bubbler configured toroidal shape and is fixed to the bottom of the conical surface by means of spacers, wherein the toroidal surface bubbler perforation ratio lies in an optimum range of values: A=0.5…0.9, and a connection for discharging purified gas located at the bottom of the conical surface. The adsorption and desorption process proceeds at the following optimum ratios of the constituent elements of the device: the ratio of the height H of the cylindrical part of the body to its diameter D is in the optimum ratio of the quantities: H/D=0.73…1.1; the ratio of the height H of the cylindrical part of the body to the thickness S of its wall is in the optimal ratio of the quantities: H/S=220…275; the ratio of the height of the adsorbent layer H1 to the height H of the cylindrical body part is in the optimum ratio of the quantities: H1/H=0.22…0.55; the ratio of the height of the adsorbent layer H1 to the height H2 layer of gravel is in the optimal ratio of the quantities: H1/H2=5.0…12.0, and the adsorbent is made in the form of balls, as well as solid or hollow cylinders, the grains of an arbitrary surface obtained in the process of its manufacture, as well as in the form of short segments of thin-walled tubes or rings of equal size in height and diameter: 8, 12, 25 mm.
EFFECT: increasing the level of purification of gas flow from target components and dust due to increase of the area of contact of adsorbent with a target component.
