SUBSTANCE: portable computing device comprises: a touch screen display; a graphical user interface for displaying of the annotation icon on the touch screen display; memory for storage of the event log of the patient's medical procedure; a processor that responds to detection of a touch on the annotation icon, to save the annotation of the medical procedure protocol stage in the event log, the medical procedure protocol is the cardiac resuscitation protocol, the annotation icon is one of the icoms of the defibrillator electrode, ventilation, indirect heart massage, electric defibrillation discharge, intravenous (IV) therapy, when the annotation icon is the icon of the defibrillator electrode, the processor allows the graphical user interface to display the second annotation icon as an electric defibrillation discharge icon in response to a touch.
EFFECT: increase accuracy of medical care events recording.
