FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used to produce catheters having inflatable balloons. Hollow medical polymer elastic article comprises a wall made of at least three alternating polymer layers, connected to each other and made from low-modulus and highly extendible silicone rubber based on liquid silicone rubber and ester-type polyurethane. Said layers are formed by sequentially dipping form simulating a product in selected polymer solutions followed by drying in air and thermal treatment, outer layer is made of silicone rubber. Layers are formed using polyurethane with breaking strength of 25 MPa, elongation at rupture of up to 700 %, as well as silicone rubber with hardness units. Shore A is not less than 15, tensile strength at break greater than 6 MPa, elongation at break of 700 %, thickness of each layer of polyurethane is less than half thickness of layer of silicone rubber.
EFFECT: invention allows reduces gas permeability of walls of product and provides reversibility of deformation of wall of product after its blowing and subsequent discharge of working medium.
