FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealed neutron tubes and may be used in neutron generators for non-destructive elemental analysis of substance and research neutron radiation methods, including for geophysical exploration of oil and gas wells. In sealed neutron tube containing a tubular insulator, on one end being tightly secured ion source with central hole for extraction of ions on other end is fixed target and accelerating electrode with central hole for passage of ions placed in cavity of tubular insulator, tubular insulator has axial inner groove on side of target, and accelerating electrode is shaped to truncated cone and is introduced into groove against stop.
EFFECT: technical result is increase of reliability and longer life of sealed neutron tube.
