FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser equipment materials, particularly, to materials for making passive gates of lasers with modulated q-factor or multistage generators isolation systems. Technical result consists in making glass-ceramic material for passive laser gates, operating in wavelength with range of 1.3-1.7 mcm and having low intensity of saturation absorption. Glass have following composition, wt %: SiO2 - 32-44, Al2O3 - 11-22, ZnO - 20-35, K2O - 9-20, KCl - 0.1-3, CoO - 0.005-0.5, wherein CoO is introduced above 100 %. Method involves melting glass of given composition, cooling of melt and annealed to obtain material viscosity equal to 1010.5-1011 Pa·s, subsequent heat treatment at temperature of 650-800 °C for 1-200 hours, then cooling down to room temperature.
EFFECT: disclosed is method of producing glass-ceramic material for passive laser gates.
