FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to propulsion engineering, specifically concerns combined-cycle turbine engines. Operating method of steam and gas turbine engine, which consists in that gas-vapour mixture is formed - working gas-vapour medium, which is directed to turbine, in which energy of steam-gas mixture flow is converted into mechanical energy of rotation of turbine rotor, cyclic formation of fuel-air mixture in cylinder is carried out with its further compression and ignition in combustion chamber, complete combustion of fuel-air mixture in additional combustion chamber with formation of steam-gas mixture is carried out, while turbine rotor is used as drive. Steam-gas turbine engine includes electric motor (1), crank gear (2), cylinder (3), nozzle for fuel supply (4), inlet valve (5), outlet valve (6), combustion chamber (7), ignition plug (8), bypass valve (9), nozzle for water supply (10), additional combustion chamber (11), calibrated nozzle (12), turbine (13) and piston (14).
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of fuel consumption due to cyclic ignition of compressed fuel-air mixture and its complete combustion in additional combustion chamber.
