FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary combustion engines with split cycle. Proposed engine comprises inlet and working sections accommodating rotors with working blades divided by middle wall composed of section accommodating detonation combustion chamber locked by complete combustion of fuel-air mixture by three valves. One valve is intended for inlet of fuel-air mixture from inlet section into combustion chamber, second valve is intended for release of working medium into working section, and third valve is for gas bleeding with residual pressure from combustion chamber to atmosphere before combustion chamber of another portion of fuel-air mixture. Combustion chamber is made of material withstanding superhigh mechanical and temperature loads occurring during detonation combustion. To ensure such combustion process chamber has no conjugated rotating elements requiring lubrication. Engine cooling is carried out by injection of required amount of water into working section with obtaining of additional water vapor pressure.

EFFECT: technical result consists in higher engine efficiency.
