METHOD FOR COMBINED IMPACTION AUTOPLASTY OF FEMORAL HEAD Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B17/56 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for recovery of impaired function of hip joint in patients with early stages of aseptic necrosis of femoral head. Canal is formed in whirlbone neck and head. Bone destruction centre is removed from femoral head and bone defect is replaced with muscle autograft. Abarticular canal with diameter of not more than 6 mm is formed in intertrochanteric region, whirlbone neck and head. Using tool access is made by formed channel to femoral head destruction area and intralesional resection of femoral head is carried out. Hip bone autograft obtained when forming a channel in hip intertrochanteric region, neck and head of is mechanically crushed, and successively impacted in defect resection area of femoral head. Non-free muscle flap from distal portion of posterior portion of gluteus medius muscle is formed, latter is introduced in distal portion of created canal and fixed with transosseous sutures.

EFFECT: method enables pathogenetically effect on pathological centre in femoral head, increases mechanical strength of bone tissue in destruction area, creates conditions for optimum revascularization and remodelling of bone tissue of femoral head, and also reduces intraoperative injuries.
