FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to neurology and neurophysiology and experimental neurobiology. Three-dimensional localisation of sources of electroencephalogram (EEG) is performed when solving inverse problem of distribution of potentials on surface of scalp. At that, search of initial amplitude, phase and attenuation coefficient of electroencephalogram source of point source exponentially damped in volume of brain electrical signal, using methods of nonlinear optimisation and solving system of nonlinear equations.
EFFECT: method enables higher information value and accuracy of positioning, that is ensured by presenting EEG source in form of point of electrical signal, exponentially damped in volume of brain, and use for calculation methods of nonlinear optimisation and nonlinear equations.
