SUBSTANCE: hollow biller ends are squeezed. The hollow billet is revolved. The hollow billet inner surface is heated to the temperature lower than that of the billet material grain recovery. The billet outer surface is rolled by reciprocating axial displacement of rolling female die. The latter is composed of one or more rollers, one having the larger-diameter section.
EFFECT: increased depth of hardened zone.
