DEVICE FOR TESTING MATERIAL FOR SHEARING AND TWISTING AT DEFORMATION RATE 10-10 с, METHOD OF DETERMINING DEPENDENCE OF MAXIMUM TANGENTIAL STRESS OF SHEAR DEFORMATION IN SAMPLE MATERIAL IN FORM OF SOLID CYLINDRICAL ROD AND METHOD OF DETERMINING DEPENDENCE OF VOLTAGE FROM SHEAR DEFORMATION IN SAMPLE MATERIAL IN FORM OF THIN-WALLED CYLINDRICAL TUBE USING SAID DEVICE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01N3/22 G01N3/24

Abstract RU 2584344 C1

FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment, to devices for testing of materials for shear and torsion and can be used in machine building. Device comprises loading and support rods, equipped with strain gauges, between which sample is placed. Device is equipped with three levers serially crossed at approximately right angle, in each of which in center of reticle there is hole of non-round shape, wherein in two of them are located opposite ends of test sample, and in third is its middle part. Ends of specimens and middle part are made with same shape and enter levers holes with minimum clearance, wherein levers are arranged so that levers longitudinal axes of symmetry on ends of sample are installed in one plane, and longitudinal axis of symmetry of middle lever is located approximately perpendicular to this plane. One end of each lever contacts with loading rod, and other is with support one. Method summary: measurement of deformations in falling, and the reflected pulse deformation is carried out on entire time interval of deformation effect by strain gages arranged on rods, and then shear deformation in sample is measured, maximum shear stress for sample and rate of deformation are determined using formulae.

EFFECT: expanded device performance.
