FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of restoring a metal-ceramic working surface of parts of machines and mechanisms operating under conditions of cutting, friction and abrasive wear, and can be used in chemical, petrochemical, food, electrical and metallurgical industries. Working surface is irradiated with pulsed low-energy intense electron beam with submillisecond duration (150-200 mcs) with electron energy (15-18) keV at energy density (50-60) J/cm2 and the number of pulses sufficient to insert-molded cracks.
EFFECT: technical result is elimination of both through, and shallow vertical cracks, which occurred in hard-alloy working layer of article during operation.
