SUBSTANCE: injector is configured coupled with a container or cartridge each of which contains a number of doses of a parenteral solution for a number of patients to transfer fluids; a data storage is rigidly connected to the container or cartridge; the data storage on the container or cartridge is configured to record the patient's maximum single dose information and/or maximum usage time-after-opening; a data transfer device is configured to read out the patient's maximum single dose information and/or maximum usage time-after-opening from the data storage on the container or cartridge; and an injector processor is configured to control a control pump or motor unit so as not to introduce an amount exceeding the maximum single dose, and/or so as not to inject from the container or cartridge after the space of the maximum length of use.
