FIELD: communication system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication systems. Method comprises the steps of: information storing concerning the functions of IMS continuous service, which are supported by the MSC servers in the network; and when receiving a message requesting IMS registration of the user equipment, using said information to determine the functions of continuous IMS service, available to the user equipment, and for any functions of continuous IMS service available include through a node in said message an indication of available functions of continuous IMS service, and forwarding said message towards the Application Server Centralization and Continuity Services, SSC AS.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the data rate.
