FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer compositions for producing heat insulating material, which can be used in designing of external heat insulation and protective coatings in construction and reconstruction of buildings and structures, heat insulation of residential and industrial buildings, main and local oil and gas pipelines and other non-energy efficient structures. Composition contains phenol binder based on phenol-formaldehyde resins grades FRV-1A and FRV-EM, mineral filler - ash-slag wastes, catalyst - acid type foaming/curing agent VAG-3, surfactant OP-10 and gas-forming admixtures. As gas-forming admixtures petroleum ether on basis of gasoline fractions 40-70°C and petroleum ether based on gasoline fractions 70-100°C are used, and as mineral filler fly ash from burning of Azejskoe deposit coal in thermal power plant containing SiO2 as base is used, as well as TiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO, K2O, Na2O, SO3.
