FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, medicine and veterinary science, specifically to production of liquid stable shigella serum, which can be used for putting passive hemagglutination reaction (PHR), as well as in agglutination reaction (AR). Invention can also be used for producing a kit for detection of specific antibodies to various kinds of shigella in human blood serum in passive hemagglutination reaction (PHR). Invention represents a method of producing stable liquid diagnostic salmonella serum, having ability to preserve functional activity of antibodies with their long-term stay in aqueous solutions using polyglucin and sorbitol, diagnostic salmonella serum obtained using said method and kit for detection of specific antibodies to various kinds of salmonella in blood serum, including said serum.
EFFECT: invention allows at any time to have ready to use of serum, decreases consumption of materials used, eliminates steps of producing labour-intensive and energy-consuming freeze drying stage, which considerably simplifies process of producing serum.
