FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, particularly to means of identifying audio interface outputs. Method involves measurement of audio interface voltage containing the first and second outputs, which can be either outputs of microphone or earthing leads. Note here that does not perform identification of leads, when the absolute value of voltage difference between the first output and the second lead is less than the first threshold value. Or the type of first and second leads in accordance with the sign of voltage difference between first and second outputs is determined when the absolute value of voltage difference is greater than or equal to the second threshold value. Second threshold value shall exceed or equal to the first one. If the absolute value of voltage difference is greater than or equal to the second threshold value and voltage difference is positive, the first output is defined as an output of microphone and the second - as earthing terminal, when the absolute value of voltage difference is greater than or equal to the second threshold value and voltage difference is negative, the first output is defined as earthing output and the second output is defined as output of the microphone.
EFFECT: technical result consists in high accuracy of identifying audio interface output.
