SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment. Substance: at least one outlet (B1, B2) of the sensor (10, 110) is connected to a shift resistor (21, 22, 121). At least one testing offset voltage is sent to at least one resistor (21, 22, 121), which has at least one preset characteristic, which differs from the appropriate characteristic of rated offset voltage of the resistor. The resulting differential voltage is measured at sensor outlets. Depending on at least one characteristic of the measured differential voltage, corresponding to the preset characteristic of testing offset voltages, they determine presence of short circuit.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of measurement.
