SUBSTANCE: method of radio beacons activation device operating when searching for injured people under rubble, can be used to locate personnel under rubble in mines. novel in method of searching affected under rubble, is provision of whole personnel with mine beacons, and establishing of search group, which is equipped with radio beacons activation devices and search devices. Activation device drives variable-frequency magnetic field with one frequency and circular polarisation of set power. This variable magnetic field of circular polarisation is caught using coil with ferromagnetic core of mine personnel beacon and in case of exceeding by received and amplified signal of certain threshold level low-frequency magnetic field is excited with another frequency and searching for radio beacon is performed.
EFFECT: coil of beacon catches equally efficient linear component of circular polarisation field at any orientation of its longitudinal axis within polarisation plane, which increases probability of activation of radio beacon at any of its position in space.
