FIELD: radio engineering; rescue operations.
SUBSTANCE: novel in method of searching affected under rubble, is provision of whole personnel with mine beacons, and establishing of search group, which is equipped with radio beacons activation devices and search devices. At that, activation device drives variable-frequency magnetic field with frequency and set power variable during certain short period of time. This variable magnetic field is caught using coil with ferromagnetic core of mine personnel beacon and in case of exceeding by received and amplified signal of certain threshold level low-frequency magnetic field is excited with another frequency and searching for radio beacon is performed. At that, radio beacon catches equally efficient variable-frequency magnetic field at any frequency tuning of its narrow-band amplifier, which falls within range of frequency tuning of low-frequency controlled generator of activation device, which increases the probability of activation of radio beacon at any conditions of its production and under effect of destabilising factors occurring during its operation.
EFFECT: method of activation device and radio beacon operating when searching for injured people under rubble, can be used to locate personnel under rubble in mines.
