FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Pneumatic tire comprises multiple units, separated by circular grooves and side grooves and multiple slot-like drain grooves running along tire width and made in each block. At least some of slot-like drain grooves have main part located in centre of unit in direction of tire width and made with deep bottom connected part, which is connected with circumferential groove, adjacent to such unit, and has depth making at least 50 % of depth of circular groove, and mutually mating convex and concave parts are locally on two opposite surfaces provided with deep bottom connected part of slot-like drain groove.
EFFECT: technical result is better grip on ice, wet road, without reducing stability at steering on dry road surfaces.
