FIELD: weapons and ammunition; rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: missile with air-jet engine comprises head air intake device which includes central body and shell, combustion chamber, gas generator, warhead, solid fuel starting engine and stabiliser with opening vanes. Shell is fixed on central body by means of longitudinal pylons, uniformly located in circumferential direction and installed at zero angle to longitudinal axis of rocket. Front edges of pylons are provided with symmetric tip with angle of 10°…30° and removed from air intake minimum passage flow section at distance of 0.5…3.0 of minimum clearance between shell and central body. Opening vanes are made arc-shaped, are directed by convex surfaces in direction of missile rotation.
EFFECT: increased missile range.
