FIELD: rocket equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the rocket equipment and can be used in the missiles with air-jet engine development. Missile contains the front air intake device. It includes the central body and the shell, combustion chamber, gas generator, starting engine, a stabilizer with opening arcuate vanes. At that, the shell rear part is connected to the gas generator by means of longitudinal pylons in the amount of 3…6. They are equipped with the thermal protection coating. Pylons leading edges are made with a bluntness in the form of a hemisphere with a radius equal to 0.5 of the pylon front part thickness. Pylons thickness is 1.0…1.5 of the shell thickness. At the connection point to the pylons the gas generator outer surface is made tapered with the half-opening angle of 15…25°. Air intake device shell length is equal to 3…6 missile calibers.
EFFECT: increase in the missile flight range.
