FIELD: weapons; artillery rounds.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weapons, namely to rocket-assisted artillery rounds. The rocket-assisted rounds contains a head fuse, a warhead body, a control and power supply compartment housing, including aerodynamic control surfaces, and a sliding ramjet engine with a driving belt located in the rear part of the projectile. A ramjet rocket engine consists of a gas generator housing, including a charge of a sectional mixed insert solid fuel containing a metal frame, an injector block with threaded holes, a diaphragm, a central body in the form of a pin with an external thread located along the axis of the projectile with the possibility of axial movement, a cylindrical annular shell afterburner chamber and nozzle block. The threaded connections of the nozzle block and the central body in the form of a pin are made with the ability to rotate relative to each other with subsequent longitudinal axial displacement and with the possibility of increasing the afterburning chamber with simultaneous opening of the annular air intake device.
EFFECT: increasing the flight range of a rocket-assisted round by increasing the volume of the annular afterburning chamber in flight and delaying the opening of the ring-type air intake device.
