FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: multipositional rotary switch consists of several switch chamber modules that are placed one by one and are designed identical relative to each other. Each module of the switch chamber contains a separate line switch connected to the circuit. The separate drive body contains a set of creepers for the switch shaft. The switch shaft is connected to the jaw carrier by means of a gear drive. The jaw carrier is placed between the unit made of the switch chamber modules and the activation mechanism body. The activation mechanism body is designed for standard configuration of the multipositional rotary switch with three switch chamber modules connected to each other. The electric terminals of the multipositional rotary switch are placed on the narrow sides of separate switch chamber modules. Thus, terminals are provided on two sides of the ready multipositional rotary switches where the terminals on one side are placed at equal height.
