FIELD: control equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for ultrasonic inspection of articles along whole section. This method consists in that on surface of inspected article is installed a system piezoelectric transducers, alternating operation of combined and separate modes of radiation-reception of ultrasonic vibrations and, by moving system piezoelectric converters along longitudinal axis of monitored article, emitting therein with an inclined piezoelectric transducer ultrasonic vibrations and echo-signals reflected from vertical, vertically oriented, horizontal and horizontally oriented standard and non-standard reflectors (defects), located in a projection of plane of ultrasonic wave propagation in controlled article with one or multiple direct piezoelectric transducers, wherein radiation of ultrasonic vibrations in controlled article is carried out with one piezoelectric transducer with preset angle of input of ultrasonic oscillations and reception of echo-signals with one or multiple direct piezoelectric transducers with an angle of reception of echo-signals 0° in one cycle. Feature of detecting reflectors in controlled article is simultaneous actuation of indicator upon exceeding threshold level of amplitude of echo signals of reflected diffraction-longitudinal wave, excited passing refracted transformed diffraction-longitudinal wave reflected transverse wave and reflected transformed diffraction longitudinal wave excited passing refracted transformed transverse wave and attenuation of amplitude of echo signals reflected diffraction-longitudinal wave reflected from opposite parallel surfaces of input of ultrasonic vibrations and excited passing refracted transformed diffraction-longitudinal wave.

EFFECT: technical result is improved reliability and accuracy of control.
