FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless measurement of quantity of liquid. Method of measuring amount of liquid and system for measuring amount of liquid are disclosed. Disclosed method is characterised by calculation of amount of liquid based on measured transfer function by determining time delay between transmission of a specific incident electromagnetic wave of incident electromagnetic waves and reception of corresponding reflected electromagnetic wave; comparing certain time delay with a set of known time delays, which correspond to incident electromagnetic wave, having same characteristics as said specific incident electromagnetic wave; determining matching of a certain time delay with time delay of a set of known time delay and determining amount of fluid corresponding to matched time delay, after determining matching of a certain time delay with time delay of a set of known time delays. Disclosed system comprises a request unit, comprising a transmitter, receiver, a module of transfer function and a computing module; and unit of induction energy and data.
