FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for treating exhaust gases. Device (1) for treating exhaust gases, comprising inlet pipe (2) formed for inlet of combustion exhaust gas; exhaust pipe (3) formed for outlet of combustion exhaust gas; gas-tight inner casing (7) which is connected in fluid communication with inlet pipe (2) on one side and to outlet pipe (3) on other side, for accommodating particle filter (4); connecting member (9) which is located in region (8) connecting internal housing (7) facing outlet pipe (3) with respect to flow direction, a filter for mechanical connection of particle filter (4) with internal housing (7); oxidation catalyst (5) located upstream with respect to particle filter (4) in inner housing (7), to catalyse reduction reaction generated in combustion exhaust gas; at least one seat (11, 12, 13, 14) measuring located at maximum length (L) of particle filter (4) relative to direction of flow, to measure back-pressure created by particle filter (4), during operation of device (1) for treating exhaust gases. Device (1) for treating exhaust gases has an annular space (30) which extends radially between particle filter (4) and inner casing (7) and which is connected in fluid communication with region (34) extending axially between oxidative converter (5) and particle filter (4). In annular space (30) there is seat (11, 12, 13, 14) for pressure measurement. Present invention also relates to internal combustion engine (24) having said device (1).

EFFECT: technical result of invention is providing continuous control of back-pressure applied by filter to exhaust gas flow.
