SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes method of controlling administration of a medical preparation (versions), a ventilation system for use by patient, computer-readable recording medium and a ventilator controller, relates to medical equipment and is intended to control on side of patient by administering drugs in aerosol form using a ventilator. First version of method of controlling administration of a medical substance comprises steps of: configuring an aerosol generator to aerosolise a medical substance and administer aerosolised medical substance to a patient using a ventilator, comprising a first processor; providing patient with a patient control interface; configuring a second processor to control ventilator and aerosol generator in response to commands from patient control interface. Patient control interface is configured to send signals to second processor, through which patient initiates administration of dose of aerosolised medical substance. Patient controls administration of aerosolised medical substance in accordance with limits of administration of medical substance.

EFFECT: invention enables patient independently initiate introduction of medicinal agents in aerosol form.
