SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to absorbent products and more specifically to disposable absorbent products which people wear for retention and absorption of liquid body emissions. Disposable absorbent product (10) passes along longitudinal axis (10y) and transverse axis (10) perpendicular to longitudinal axis (10y). Article (10) has upper sheet (12) and back sheet (14), covering upper sheet (12), wherein upper sheet (12) and back sheet (14) together define first and second lateral edges (23) of article (10) on corresponding sides of longitudinal axis (10y). Absorbent core (16) is located between upper sheet (12) and back sheet (14) for storage of liquid released by wearing article (10). Absorbent core (16) has first and second lateral edges (27, 29) on first and second side edges (23) respectfully of article (10) to determine corresponding first and second side parts (20, 22) of article (10), which do not contain absorbent core (16).

EFFECT: Article (10) also has several folds (40a, 40b, 40c) parallel to transverse axis (10x), and several ligaments (52, 54, 62, 64) in at least one of first or second side parts (20, 22), which are fixed by several folds (40a, 40b, 40c) in place.
