FIELD: glass.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making hollow glass articles. Method includes feeding at least one molten-glass parison into a parison mould and forming a blank. Blank is transferred into a finishing mould and an article is formed. Finishing mould cavity comprises a bottom provided with a concave recess for forming at bottom of article a convexity directed outwards from said article. Convexity is then removed to obtain bottom of article with a substantially constant thickness.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is to obtain an article of small thickness with a uniform distribution of glass.
