FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to blow moulding machines with extrusion head. Extrusion head for hollow body blow moulding comprises casing with inner cylindrical chamber. Cylindrical male mould is axially arranged inside cylindrical housing to form cylindrical clearance between its outer surface and housing inner surface for melted plastic material fed by extruder to flow there through. Female mould is mounted on housing bottom. Lower part of male mould is arranged in female mould to produce annular clearance communicated with aforesaid cylindrical clearance to allow tubular billet to come from extrusion head. Note here that plunger supports inserts that produces oval shape. Note also that plunger moves axially in the chamber formed to male mould bottom part to open downward. Plunge can move from retracted position of rest whereat insert lower edge that produces oval shape is arranged in male mould bottom part, into extended, working, position whereat insert lower edge that produces oval shape extends downward relative to male mould bottom part bottom edge.
EFFECT: uniform distribution of extruded product wall thickness- universal extrusion head.
