SUBSTANCE: method of mass exchange includes steps of: directed first fluid and second fluid into mass transfer device. Mass transfer device includes vessel, which has head zone, base zone and mass exchange zone, wherein first fluid comes in contact with second fluid medium at least in mass exchange zone. Mass exchange zone is located between head zone and base zone, and mass exchange zone includes structured nozzle, which includes plurality of adjacent layers of fabric, which includes fiber strands from nonmetallic material. Mass exchange device operates at load of not more than 3 m³/m²/h. Fabric structured head piece includes fiber strands from non-metallic material, which are formed as weft threads. Weft threads have linear density of at least 100 g/1,000 m, and weft threads include at least 20 threads/25.4 mm.

EFFECT: invention provides device for carrying out method of mass exchange, in which share of moistened surface of nozzle can be increased by means of structured nozzle.
