SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a packing sheet for structured packing. Packing sheet comprises a plurality of structural elements which are shaped and arranged in such a manner that they form a first fine structure, and adjacent structural elements having a first spacing. Packing sheet is also provided with a plurality of bends which are shaped and arranged in such a way that they form a second fine structure, and there is a second distance between adjacent bends. Said structural elements and bends are made without holes.
EFFECT: optimising the structure of the packing sheet provides for improved distribution of liquid and thereby better wetting and increasing the surface, which increases productivity in performing mass transfer and / or heat exchange between a less dense fluid phase and a denser fluid phase.
