FIELD: heat and mass transfer.
SUBSTANCE: structured packed module contains a set of structured packed sheets arranged vertically and parallel to each other, wherein each structured packed sheet has opposite faces, an upper edge, a lower edge, a volumetric area between the upper edge and the lower edge and corrugations formed by alternating peaks and troughs that are connected by sidewalls of the corrugation and that pass in an inclined direction, which forms an indirect angle of inclination relatively to the upper edge and/or lower edge of the structured packed sheet. Structured packed sheets are designed and arranged in such a way that corrugations of adjacent structured packed sheets pass at an indirect angle to each other. The corrugated structured packed sheet has surface texturing, which can be made in the form of a grid of concave and convex structures. Each concave structure is separated from some or all of adjacent concave structures by convex structures. Convex structures form rows of peaks and connecting saddles. Microchannels pass along adjacent concave structures and connecting saddles and cross troughs of corrugations at an angle in the range from 20 to 75 degrees. The texturing of the surface can be or include undulating parallel grooves in the upper edge area adjacent to the upper edge and the lower edge area adjacent to the lower edge, and can also be or include parallel segments of grooves in the volumetric area that are oriented obliquely to upper and lower edges of the structured packed sheet.
EFFECT: ensuring a more uniform distribution of liquid over structured surfaces of the nozzle, increasing the active and effective surface area, on which the interaction of liquid and steam occurs, resulting in an increase in the efficiency of mass transfer.
