SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a homogeneous composition, changing its colour when exposed to water-based liquid. Composition includes a matrix forming component, a leuco dye, a Lewis acid metal salt, a neutral surfactant, and the organic solvent. Matrix forming component is selected from water insoluble film forming polymers and copolymers. Weight ratio of surfactant to the amount of a neutral leuco dye is less than 10. We also describe a multicomponent material comprising a substrate coated with a printing layer comprising said composition, and two variants of the disposable absorbent article comprising said multicomponent material.
EFFECT: proposed composition has water resistance and simultaneously good wettability, ensuring rapid color change leuco dye complex/Lewis acid in preventing the leaching of this complex.
