FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a coloring composition for laser imaging. Composition contains (a) near-infrared absorbing system, (b) color-changing substance, (c) binder. System (a) comprises a compound of formula M1W1.6O6, where M1 one or more elements selected from H, He, alkali metals – Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, alkaline earth elements – Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, rare earth elements – Zr, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ru, Co, Rh, Ir, Ni, Pd, Pt, Cu, Ag, Au, Zn, Cd, Al, Ga, In, Tl, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb, Sb, B, F, P, S, Se, Br, Te, Ti, Nb, V, Mo, Ta, Re, Hf, Os, Bi and I, or ammonium. There are also: alternative coloring composition for laser marking that does not simultaneously contain double tungsten oxide and metallic tungsten; a method for forming images using said color compositions; substrates coated with a dye composition.
EFFECT: invention provides coloring compositions with a good efficiency of laser imaging with little or no effect on the background color of the coating.
