SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space research and technology and can be used for studying volcanic state of Mars. Plugged fumaroles are drilled on Mars. With help of gas analysis and/or video equipment, presence or absence of fumarole gas flow jets is determined.
EFFECT: investigation of Mars resources in terms of possibility of increase in weight and volume of its atmosphere due to fumarole gases.
