FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to disc couplings. Disc clutch relates to compensating couplings and is intended for connection of two rotating shafts with possibility of compensation of their angular divergence. Coupling consists of driving and driven half-couplings, made in form of discs with radial key or slots on end surfaces. Between half-couplings there is a floating disc on both end surfaces of radially located slots or key perpendicular to each other. Coupling is characterised by concave-convex shapes of conjugated surfaces of discs and pairs of slot-key. Allowable divergence angle of rotation axes of connected shafts depends on diameter of coupling discs.
EFFECT: wider field of application.
