FIELD: communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used to detect motion. For this purpose, motion detector device (1) comprises a receiver (2) adapted to receive at least one electromagnetic signal (3b, 4b, 5b), formed by corresponding transmitted electromagnetic signal (3a, 4a, 5a), which is transmitted by corresponding source (6, 7, 8), and which affects corresponding channel (9; 9a, 9b, 9c). Motion detector device (1) comprises given information relative to each electromagnetic signal (3a, 4a, 5a), analysis means (10) for analysis of all components of received signal to determine how certain parameters of each electromagnetic signal (3a, 4a, 5b) affect each corresponding channel (9; 9a, 9b, 9c) by means of given information. Analysis means (10) is also operable to analyse changes in time of said certain parameters for a certain time.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improving reliability of motion detection.
