FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to radar ranging and can be used in radar stations for protection against pulse, including response, interference. Technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of compensating for radar interference based on reception of signals by the main and additional channels, on setting parameters of the automatic equalizer, providing for subtraction of signals received from the direction of the source of interference, when probing a new direction, a false probe is emitted with a lower power level, signals received during this period are considered to be interference, adjustment of parameters of the automatic equalizer is carried out by these signals, after which space is probed with signals with nominal power level. Technical result is also achieved by the fact that a radar station for implementing an interference compensation method, comprising a main antenna, an additional antenna, a main receiving-transmitting and additional receiving channels, an automatic equalizer, a synchronizer, antenna outputs are connected to inputs of corresponding channels, outlets of the channels are connected to the first and second inputs of the automatic equalizer, respectively, a probe power control device and an automatic equalizer strobe device, the first input of which is connected to the second output of the additional channel, second input of gating device is connected to second output of synchronizer, and output is connected to fourth input of automatic equalizer, output of power control device is connected to second input of main receiving-transmitting channel, second output of synchronizer is connected to first input of control device of probe power and second input of gating device.

EFFECT: compensation for pulse interference, while maintaining conditions for receiving signals reflected from the target.
