FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-speed machining at NC machines. Device which realises disclosed control method comprises series-connected thermocouple installed with possibility of measuring temperature in cutting part of cutter, a fuzzy controller and a controlled DC generator connected with thermal element made in form of Peltier element, an active control unit consisting of a cutting speed sensor, a cutter feed sensor and a sensor for current supplied to said thermal element, wherein second input of fuzzy controller is connected to output of active control unit. Device provides real time control of cooling rate of cutting part of cutting tool using corresponding fuzzy rules of controlling current supplied to Peltier element.
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of machining while increasing rate of processing.
