FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. Friction damper comprises pressure wedge resting on pressure spring and spacer ring via friction wedges. Friction wedges interacting with friction barrel. Damper comprises electromagnet winding. Coefficient of friction between friction wedges and friction barrel is varied by slave control system. Control system comprises a current controller receiving signal from adder output, dual integrator and rectifier. Adder compares signal setting marginal amplitude of bolster vertical oscillations with valid signal amplitude of bolster vertical oscillations fed from sensor of vertical accelerations of bolster.
EFFECT: higher traffic safety.
